Yeah I think it was only about a little over a year later that Quake4 came out.

I haven't even looked into Quake4 lately, are there even any mods for the game? ~ goes an looks..

At no point has Bethesda support told you that noclip in Doom3 works on Xbox. You are either greatly misunderstanding what's being explained to you, or you are making that up.

There was a fair amount of cut content from the Xbox version, and there was no debug console available. There were cheats, but no "noclip" cheat.

 

I mean, if Bethesda said Doom 3 could work on Xbox and PC, then yes, that's correct. But it's not the same version of the game, and the console is non-existent in the Xbox version. You can't noclip in the Xbox version, and you can't magically load the Xbox version on a PC, you would need to buy Doom 3 for PC to play the game on a PC.
