How do I check if something is even?

Retro Dino

Question

I want to make sure that a sector in the middle of a sector is even with both sides, is there a tool that does that? I've been manually counting the lines from one sector to another, and it can be time consuming.

No, there is no such tool.

But, if you think about it, you could move that sector in the middle around until the linedef center nibs line up, horizontally and vertically, with the larger sector.

If so required, adjust the grid size.

When you draw a line it should tell you how long it is, no?

Yeah but if i put a box in the middle it doesn't tell me how far it is from the line def on the outside.

So when you want to measure, you start drawing lines between the box and the side.
