Triloguy Posted January 20, 2021 B.R.P.D. is well known. And (in my opinion) made good and bad levels. Anyway (if you've played his levels) what's your favorite? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Devalaous Posted January 21, 2021 BPRD was a very odd Doom mapper, making nonsense one day, then incredibly detailed memorable magnum opuses the next, then making trollish crap again. I enjoy Equinox, Grove and Mucus Flow, and wish there was more of that kind of stuff out there. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Maybe he makes crap again absolutely consciously not to lose his old style?))) 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

While I haven't played many of his wads before, he seems like the Distant Cry of doom mapping from what I know based on nuts and a few of his other works. Gibbitudinous Posted July 5, 2023 that BRPD classic, the gaseous flow Jokes aside, it's funny how BPRD's whole shtick seemed primed for cult classic status, with their most famous maps (outside of nuts.wad) all being incredibly beautiful but also incredibly forbidding due to their distinctly survival-horror-esque difficulty where you could easily screw yourself by shooting too much... in an fps game. The perfect combination to create a distinct aura of mystique around your work as a mapper. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Lucius Wooding Posted July 5, 2023 Everybody is asking about BPRD's best maps, but nobody is talking about BPRD's MIDIs. He might be my favorite Doom composer. 4 Quote Share this post Link to post
