Silhouette 03 Posted January 20, 2021 (edited) It seems my monster closet doors aren't triggering by the linedefs I tagged in my map. Can anyone with an editor help me(I'm using Doombuilder X)? Is there something wrong or am I just being stupid? Any help would be fantastic Hellwalker - Copy.zip Edited January 20, 2021 by Silhou3tte 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
ViolentBeetle Posted January 20, 2021 If the problem area is what I think it is, then you have set it up in a wrong direction. As in, opening door means ceiling raises, but in your case ceiling is already on the normal ceiling level, you need to lower the floor. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

The floor in the monster closet? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
ViolentBeetle Posted January 20, 2021 No, the floor in front of it. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Kappes Buur Posted January 20, 2021 (edited) You were overly generous with linedef specials. All you need to do is give the door sectors a tag, as you did, tag 3, and then only the triggering linedef gets a tag 3. Not every linedef in sight. Also doors have ceiling/floor heights at the floor height monstercloset.zip Edited January 20, 2021 by Kappes Buur 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
