Playing Multiplayer with Chocolate Doom

Recommended Posts

Well it's just what it says.. the dedicated server doesn't accept any parameters.

The first player that is going to join the server after it is hosted is the one that adds parameters prior to connecting.

eg:

Run chocolate-doom.exe -dedicated ~ or just run the chocolate-server.exe.

Then run chocolate-doom-setup.exe and Connect to server, add the server IP, in your case running on the same machine the ip would be 127.0.0.1, then add -iwad doom2.wad and any other parameters in additional parameters.

Then f10 to Connect.

Any other clients should see your server running in the server list to connect to, as long as the port is forwarded to your machine.
