Xymph Posted February 1, 2021 (edited) The wiki's theme last month can be condensed into M&M. Not the chocolate variety, but mods & map(per)s. I suppose the lesson of my previous review post is to be careful what you wish for, as Dynamo128 answered the challenge (if that's what triggered it) and created dozens of WAD overview articles, temporarily flooding my backlog for bot-wise map articles creation in the process. The only, uhm, thing still lagging is that lots more custom mapping lists are needed to accurately generate thing statistics tables for existing mods & maps. Elsewhere, Gauss is putting a lot of effort into fleshing out map articles for the console versions of Doom and Doom II, and the Playstation version of Final Doom finally received a full array of comprehensive map articles too. Meanwhile, I caught up on most of TeamTNT's releases, and as usual, Doomer96 keeps plugging away through maps from the summer of '69. Sorry, 1994. Gez Posted February 1, 2021 (edited) I have to salute Doomer96's effort to document every single 1994 wad ever produced. Edited February 1, 2021 by Gez 5 Quote Share this post Link to post
Diabolución Posted February 1, 2021 I guess that the supposed special and exotic compression of the maps of Final Doom for PlayStation was, after all, a thing as real as Donald Duck. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Redneckerz Posted February 2, 2021 Yay, atleast one source engine covered ;) The rest was just edits to existing things. (Doom2Xtreme, Mr.Doom's Head On Safari, the Bot page) There has been some impressive progress there, indeed from Doomer96 who came in and has since been on a roll. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Diabolución Posted February 2, 2021 That Doomer96 is indeed the fucking killing machine. Yes, I love this expression... I also appreciate the efforts by another underrated and underliked fucking killing machine, as to filling the secrets out: @NuMetalManiak. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Yes, as it's been a while since issue #21, another tip of the hat was overdue. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
