Spawn cube not spawning monster

Stupid Bunny

Question

I'm still working on this funky deHackery with the monster spawner, testing mostly in Crispy Doom for which I want it to be as compatible as possible.  I have moving spawn spots, still with NOSECTOR and NOBLOCKMAP enabled, and most of the time it works as intended; however, maybe like 30-40% of the time, the spawn cubes simply drop to the ground and rush off into oblivion instead of spawning a monster.  This seems to happen when the cube spitter (which is also mobile) moves close to and above me, dropping the cubes down at a sharp angle, but ultimately seems liable to happen at any distance.  The bug doesn't occur in GZDoom, but of course I'd rather it not happen in Crispy either since the whole point of the WAD is to be compatible in that port.

You might be running into this bug

That occurred to me but it seems to happen regardless of the spawn spot's position relative to the spawner at time of launching; at any rate, the bug on the Wiki only seems to happen when it is exactly east/west of the spawner, whereas the bug I'm finding happens much too frequently for that.

^Sure, try this out.  You'll need to load both the .deh and the test MAP01.

Heh sorry, I thought I'd mentioned I was testing this in Crispy when I noticed this happening.  It happens in PRBoom+ as well, but, as I mentioned, monsters always spawn correctly in GZDoom.
