One probably final list, bit late in the month, but whatever. :) This time, I went a different approach: select demos at complete random from DSDA, and shorten them down to a list of five that I think are most interesting/fun/beatable. Here goes:

  • prcp Map 09 Nomo in 0:26.74.
    • An old nomo from back when the nomo demo packs were running. Not too bad for my standards back then, but definitely improvable. Kind of an annoying jump you need to perform, though, fair warning. :P
  • noye Map 03 Nomo in 0:25.46.
    • Well, an improvement is trivial, but can you really qualify for points here unless you at least beat the dubious demo from JonaG by tics?
  • cathrsis Map 04 UV-Max in 1:29.09.
    • The second wad from the author of mydoom2. It's not bad, but the maps tend to be on the sparsely populated side. This is a recent max, so I think my route here is okay, but at 12 attempts, must be improvable, I guess.
  • ndcp Map 01 Pacifist in 0:38.
    • Looks like a fun pacifist. My run seems quite sloppy.
  • * allhell Map 05 UV-Max in 3:50.
    • The best map of allhell, but also, the hardest to survive aggressively. The weapons are fun, but the encounters are nasty, which is why this is starred. :) I was a lot worse at combat scenarios when I did this, so I expect it to be beatable. Side note: this wad has plasma marines that get spawned from helicopters, I think my goal was to kill all of them, but it probably shouldn't be required, since they don't count towards the kill%. The double-headed chaingunners that spawn from the mounted arachnotrons do count, however, and should be killed IMO.
