This is a .bat file that I've written to quickly launch DOOM and set few parameters, these being map, difficulty and up to 4 custom PWADs, and also a custom IWAD if you have one. This works (I'm fairly certain,but not 100%) for any Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 source port. This launcher, your source port executable and your WAD's need to be all in the same folder, otherwise it won't work. Also, using this file as is, it will ask you to type in your port filename everytime you use it, but if you edit line 3, which reads "set port=null", you can change the "null" to whatever your port's filename is. When typing your filenames, you have to include the .wad or .pk3 file extension for your wads, but you can type the source port without the .exe extension.

 

If you have issues or questions, I'll gladly answer them! I do want to say, though, that I'm no expert and that this probably has a few rough edges and flaws, so, again, please tell me about any issues you have, as being the one who coded this, I'll probably be the fastest to rule out the source of the problem and fix it. Also, I might update the code for a couple new features in the future, but I want to keep the coding simple, otherwise, any errors will be much more difficult to track down and fix, as I'm still learning how to code.
