Not having the DLC's sucks.

I am a broke boy, so I don't have the DLC's. I was sure I bought the season pass when I bought the game, but I guess not. It's really upsetting to me because I feel like I'm missing an opportunity that I've never had. Plenty of people here have been with Doom since day one, I was never given that opportunity and I would have loved to have it. Well it sorta rises with these DLC's, and not having them feels like a disconnection from the community. Also, it's almost impossible to not see spoilers. I know I'm just complaining. but it's definitely doom related. Also no, I don't have a job. I'm disabled. Sorry for anyone who wants to be a dick and say something like "It's only $20" or "get a job" I'd love to get a job or to have $20 but some people just have to struggle.

Ah don't feel disconnected :)

The Maingame got reduced with its Price pretty soon after the Release, so will the DLCs.

 

I also was very late to the Party when Doom 16 came out, but People here will talk about it if there is something to say.

Look at the Threads of the older Games, even PSX Doom is getting love latetly.

 

I don't know how much Money you can spend monthly, but maybe something like the Gamepass could serve you here, since Bethesda and with them ID are now included.

I'm sure you'll get your chance to play the DLCs someday. Even if you know all the ins and outs of the story by the time you get to do so, Doom is a gameplay-focused experience, so you'll still get to discover something new about how you and the game go together.

I still got enjoyment out of the Mass Effect series, even though I spoiled large parts of the original trilogy by watching it on YouTube before actually playing it. That was a much more story-focused series than Doom, and yet the gameplay still made enough of a difference that playing it myself was still worthwhile.

well i dont even own the hardware to run doom 2016 or eternal so i know how you feel

though im always playing classic doom online and other mods and wads the community makes so i dont feel disconnect though i dont see myself really playing 2016 or eternal in this year

Dang that sucks even more, sorry. The games are great, hopefully you get to play them sometime soon. PS4's can be pretty cheap if you have patience and look at places like Facebook marketplace. IDK if you'll get a stimmy but if you do, I recommend getting it! I might get the DOOM DLC's with it, if I ever get it. Also Assassins creed origins DLC.

thing is i had a ps4... well at least my brother did i i played it from time to time but one day he bough 2016 because it was cheap but i couldint get to his home to play it that week so i waited and when i finally was able to... his ps4 broke

he tried to fix it since it was the second time but he was told that there was no way to fix other then changing the motherboard with was very expensive so it was better if we bough a new console so he is getting money to buy a ps5 this year if he does then yay i can finally beat doom 2016 if not i will buy a switch next year so i will be able to play them

The DLCs are good but unless you're super keen on avoiding spoilers, they can wait. It's pretty much just more of the same.
