There are myriad ways to troll players in Doom Eternal and I have no doubt upcoming Master Levels will make use of some of these.

The only way it'd be better is if it was an Armored Possessed Cursed Prowler. Same technique to dispatch it, except you have timed, regenerative armor to get through first, like the Armored BoH.

 

Anything less than this is a compromise, id.

I hope upcoming master levels don't use gimmicks such as fog or purple sludge to make levels more challenging. They just make the player worse. I'd rather face an insane amount of demons then have to deal with factors that I can't change. I'm not sure what id was thinking by making the cursed prowler.

People have been making modded master levels, and one of them adds floating SSG grappling hook points in fights wherever there are Cursed Prowlers, which is a pretty awesome counterplay for catching up to them that doesn't involve changing their mechanics
