Pepsi or Coke?

Recommended Posts

Fuck Pepsi and Coca-Cola. Drink some milk instead, good for your bones, unless lactose intolerant, water is absolutely god tier.

In all seriousness, I could care less, the only thing that matters if it's cherry flavored I'll drink it. I don't like drinking regular coke b/c it just tastes weird to me, especially in America where the sugar is artificial. Orange Fanta, Cherry Cola, and Sprite are the best to me. Dr.Pepper tastes like ass.

Neither: kvass or kompot (and no I'm not Russian).

Now that I've finished being edgy, I'd say I prefer Coke. Pepsi feels softer but it's much harder to finish a can of it than Coke. It's too sickly.

To answer the question in the OP, I usually drink Coca-Cola simply because it seems to be sold in slightly more places than Pepsi, at least in my area. Although I'll happily drink Pepsi if Coke isn't available, it's all sugary cola-flavoured caramel-coloured fizzy water to me. I'm more often drinking instant coffee or dark ale.

I tend to drink more soft drinks in the summer, because it's cheaper than trying to cool down with beer alone and doesn't leave me paralytic. Other offerings I have been known to enjoy include Irn Bru (made with real girders), Tango Cherry, Old Jamaica Ginger Beer, and Barr Bubblegum Blue.

Pepsi.

No, wait...

Coke

err...

Pepsi?

Coke?

Well, actually Coke - but it has to be cold. Pepsi is just too sweet.

I actually really like Coke Zero.

So there you have it.

Hey, Cherry Pepsi isn't actual trash in a can!

Anything cherry flavored can die.

Obvious counterexample:

"So that fucks that little theory." (even if raspberry is the best) Edit: hey, wtf, there's coconut too? How did I miss that?

Couldn't agree more. I can't speak for actual cheeries, but in my years of experience, artificially-flavoured cherry anything is utterly vile.

And it's not like I don't try it, too. I have cherry flavored stuff often. Every once in a while I'll give cherry pepsi or coke another try, I'll buy Ultra Black monster, I'll try actual cherry fruit. I just don't like it. I'm the type of person who tries things multiple times even if I know I won't like them, and so when I say I don't like something I really mean it.

Also dislike coconut flavored anything and watermelon flavored anything. I do dig a nice Pina Colada though.

Coke.  But I live in the south, so everything's a coke.  Even Pepsi.

Oddly enough, in the upper Midwest, any carbonated and caramel flavored soft drink is usually called Coke as well. I call it Coke or Pepsi, or Soda, but I'm an outlier.

@El Franko "Neither. Water is the true way to go."

And this is true. I think I consume at least two gallons of water a day.

why fight for who's better when you can just combine both in one glass

Now I want someone to do a double-blind taste test to see how people would think that would taste.

I like pepsi, it taste softer and i like the presentation, Coke feels like an overrated sugary drink, pepsi feels much more niche, which is funny because both sodas are liquid diabetes.

I always called them a candy bar in a bottle, but internally I referred to them as liquid diabetes. Great minds and thinking alike and all that. Taking my blood sugar thirty minutes after having a Mountain Dew really did it for me. That shit is bad for you.

At least you haven't chugged 3 monsters in a row, it felt like Postal dude after smoking pot.

@Taw Tu'lki Actually I can't judge. I never had good kvass. Here isn't kvass so much available (beer and vine country), only as international cuisine curiosity so I've tried only Ukrainian Obolon kvass:

oblon.jpg.d8c37168b8607e99f5408a43caf0f3e4.jpg

and honestly, it wasn't that bad but nothing world-changing. Slightly less sugar than any cola but weird aftertaste (contains cumin oil). I hope I'll be able to obtain something better in Poland if I'll be ever able to visit there.
