I need help with doors

in doom builder 2 i have this problem where when i place a door for some reason even though I have "open wait close" on both side the front side is normal but the back side is not working. can someone help me pls

I haven't watched the video that was linked, (so Idk if this is mentioned) but I know in Doom Builder 2, if you select a sector, and hit 'shift + D' it'll open a dialogue to create a door. Its an easy shortcut to quickly make doors.

you know for 14 years I made doors manually before I learned about "Shift-D" LOL
