what is the best build engine game quote

Ken Silverman's build engine has games with the most iconic video game characters out there.

 

Duke, Lo Wang, Kaleb and more, all of these people have one thing in common, they talk. Now sure Kaleb can be quite, duke can be cringe, and Lo Wang can be racist, but they all still have good lines. Now I'm here to ask what is the best build engine character line out there. you must put the line in quotes and say why it is so good and also other build games like ion fury count as well.

 

Alright now lets start discussing about quotes.

Honestly while I love Duke, Caleb seems to have some better quotes, but that might just be a VA thing too.  He just seems to have a certain greasiness to him but in a fun way.

Even though I like Duke and Caleb more than Lo Wang, I think Lo Wang (when he is not being racist) has some of the best quotes.

 

My favorite quotes are when he cuts enemies in half using his katana:

I love Caleb's quotes even though like 95% are lifted from Evil Dead movies.  Actually I probably love them because they're mostly lifted from Evil Dead movies.

"Betta watch out, it go boom!" Beaning enemies with sticky bombs is equal parts funny and "I can't believe I landed that shot!"

 

"I'll rip your head off and shit down your neck!" Yeah, Duke's channeling the drill instructor from Full Metal Jacket, but more importantly he's a man of his word as the ending scene implies.

"This is K-T-I-T. K-TIT, playing the breast - uh, the best tunes in town!" I see Duke has his priorities in order.

 

*sees Duke's mutilated corpse hanging upside down*

"I've got time to play with you."

"Uhhhh, shake it, baby!"

A bit of turnaround a la "doomed space marine", using Duke's own lines to boot.

 

The worst line in Build games was PowerslaveGuy going "See ya!" It sounds goofy as hell compared to his other lines and I swear it's a voice clip from Barney the dinosaur.

I'll never forget the one time I was playing Duke 3D's first episode for the first time and see this plaque over in the distance, go up to it and just read "San Andreas Fault" and then suddenly the whole level just fucking cracks in half while Duke just says "holy shit." That was honestly like my favorite memory in any Build game.

 

(off topic but I named my cat Duke Nukem and he's an asshole.)
