Any Mods or Map Pack Recommendations?

I haven't really played much Doom mods or map packs, any wads should I try?

I can not suggest you any gameplay mods since I don't know what type of gameplay you love to play. However, if you are looking for good map pack so I advise you to do the same as I do. Download randomly and look at comments down below of wad. I am sure of you've already seen wadfiles or DooMWorld's idgames database. So many fricking good mods stashed in them. You won't regret it believe me.

Look at "about me" on my profile, they are a bunch of random maps made by others put together. I was wanting to bring this up, mostly because of my next two.

Anything I would have recommended is somewhere on this list. I particularly like Rowdy Rudy 2, despite that extremely evil fight with a cyberdemon and an arch-vile in an elevator. I think that's Map 11 or 12, but don't quote me. Eviternity, Ancient Aliens, and Valiant are also great. You might enjoy MtPain27's Dean of Doom series on YouTube.

Gotta second the recommendation for Alien Vendetta.  Also don't sleep on Final Doom like I did, two great megawads in distinctive ways.  I've basically started my Dooming career with these three wads, as it seems they were all extremely influential in the community.

Nothing. They are both phrases describing the same thing, a collection of maps as a single set.

if you are in to remakes try Unreal RPG, I tried it was pretty decent. For doom stuff, there was a map pack which had all levels remake for doom 2, making them all harder, but can't find it anymore
