Map 10 yellow key

So, I was playing through map 10, having no ammo, killing demons, and of course, not knowing were the yellow key was. I was going left an right, to find the yellow key while trying to conserve ammo but I never found it anywhere.

 

So I went to the ol' reliable YouTube where I saw a playthrough and the yellow key was in the room full of hitscanners. I never saw it when I went there for the first - fifth time I went in that room and it was right there. Then, I was wondering, am I dumb for not seeing that? Is it the maps fault or mine?

 

I want to know if you have the same issue as me while playing Refueling Base.

The yellow key was there the whole time so make of that what you will.

Occasionally a big pile of corpses can obscure the view of keys/items.
