As Doom is a game that use mostly sectors and lines to do all the thing on their maps its good to understand that you can create sectors inside sectors, and even shape them as you like.

A bulding as made on the original games, is a mass of terrain with their walls raised up to the sky, so that way, it can differentiate the inside from the outside.

A wall is just floor raised up to a certain limit, or if it needed, it can be ceiling downed to create a sense of something hanging from it or a wall breaked up.

you have to create a ''wall sector'', thats it the sector you want to raise or down, to create the idea of walls.

They have to be thiner than other landmasses, basically, to look like walls.

Aaaa ok

basically, create a square, and then create another square inside but just a little bit smaller than the first one.

Then select the sector created between those squares, and raise it as much you need, without touching the centre square.

That way, the walls will be up and the middle will be at normal level.
