I'm sorry it took me so long to notice this Fiendish, but I'll definitely give this a play through. It looks great!

Oh, no apologies necessary. :-) Hope you enjoy! The third map should be incoming in the next day or two, by the way.

Played the first level and really enjoyed it! Some great looking areas and fun combat.

Spoiler

I thought the dining area was really cool and the green marble area was beautiful.

I got a little lost once I got so far. I wasn't sure what to do for a bit, but I did find the switch finally. The last area right before the exit was cramped and a bit awkward, but I made it with 1% of health left.

Really good map though, I will definitely be playing more. You had a lot of surprises and I did enjoy the exploration. Luckily I have been playing Bourgeois Megawad, so I felt comfortable dealing with all of the Revenants.

But really cool stuff man, I would play stuff like this all day long.

Missing texture and weird ceiling for the torch.

Liked the ruins design of the map.

Thank you! Huh, that's weird. I think this must be due to using a different port than I've tested with, but I suspect the issue is that those walls were not flagged 1-sided for some reason, which maybe resulted in the HOM on the port you're using. Will be fixing this and some other little issues with the next update, which I will post tomorrow once I have time to do one last playtest of the third map.

@TheGreenZap Thanks for playing, and glad you enjoyed it! I think I know which switch you missed, and this issue will be fixed in the next update (which will prevent the player from leaving the area until they hit the switch). Good thing you've gotten comfortable with revenants, as there are plenty more ahead ;-)

Finished Map02 and I feel somehow similar to Avactor. I don't know why I'm not a fan of that 2-Cyberdemon fight where I feel the player should have a BFG to clean up the Cybers. Right now you have to PG them down and it's kind of a strange thing to do. I think there's a BFG in the secret, but I personally would say maybe have a BFG right around you can exit, which seems to make the fight more fun. Though it may trivialize the last fight although I personally think the last fight is way easier than this 2-Cyberdemon fight.

I am personally not a fan of this type of maps, so hopefully it doesn't sound too rude, but I did see you put a lot of efforts into the little details. I like those details a lot, such as the debris around when the monsters come out from the alcoves to simulate they just shattered the stone walls, which is really cool.

Thanks for the feedback. :-) Glad that you appreciated that little detail with the debris, and I appreciate your taking the time to play it and leave feedback, especially given that you don't generally prefer maps of this kind (which I understand -- there are definitely some kinds of maps that I don't prefer as well).
