raymoohawk Posted May 27, 2015 i had seen several people write reimu hakurei as ray moo hawk ray, i liked it so i used it as a username (minus the last part) 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Kontra Kommando Posted May 27, 2015 I was entertaining the idea of dropping the "Kommando" part of my name. But then is would probably cause confusion, for people who follow my mods. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Breezeep Posted May 28, 2015 My username, Breezeep, was originally a part of an older username I came up with when I first got the Xbox 360. Sometimes I think about changing my name, but since most of you know me, you wouldn't want me to change it. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Deleted_Account Posted May 28, 2015 My username is taken after the X-Files episode of the same name. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
SavageCorona Posted May 28, 2015 I got totally pissed off Corona one time (never drinking that goat piss ever again) and my friend said dude you're on some savage corona "Savage" being the Twitter term for something I don't even know. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Zed Posted May 28, 2015 I'm pretty sure I said it somewhere else in the forums, but anyway, this is it. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Ladna Posted May 28, 2015 I actually picked it after a Ken Andrews project: Los Angeles Digital Noise Academy. I found out later it means "beautiful" in Russian/Polish. I'm OK w/ it either way :). 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Tracer Posted May 28, 2015 Well, my first name is Trace. When I was hanging out at my old boss's house, her daughter (who was about fourteen) knew that I was into metal and she had just started getting into it herself. So she gave me the nickname "Trace Of Spades" one day after discovering motorhead. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Tracer Posted May 28, 2015 GoatLord said:https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=ALBTKoXRg38BCRsc4IC8Rnw8mhkP04nwpt Darkthrone released "Goatlord" during their transition from death to black metal, the result being an anomaly that not only floats somewhere between the two genres, but has a psychedelic edge that, at times, sounds like an evil version of Hendrix, Zeppelin or Sabbath. I found the album to be really immersive, enough to use it as my handle for various forums. You have good taste, my friend. I love darkthrone. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Buckshot Posted May 28, 2015 Buckshot... you know. Like the shot in the wad's of shotgun shells. Because that's what I like to do... blow wad's 'cus I'm a strapping young buck. WAD's/shotguns/shot/doom... eh, nevermind. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

You know that the yesteryear band "Eve 6" also chose their name from one of the Eve clones from the episode "Eve" of the x-files? And i'm literally losing sleep over the X-files return this January. Was/still am obsessed with it. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Mithral_Demon Posted May 29, 2015 Mithral = Similar to LotR series Mythril or Runescape's Mithril. Mithral Scimitar from Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. Demon - Why not? A game forum that is of a game about hell, no? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Superluigieth1 Posted May 29, 2015 Well, it was my Youtube channel. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Memfis Posted May 29, 2015 I remember when I was young my parents were watching "Gone in Sixty Seconds" and there was a character called Memphis. But I didn't know that the name is spelled like that so it became "Memfis". 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
StevieWolfe Posted May 29, 2015 This is just one of a million screennames I have floating around online. Most people know me by "Someguy827", since its what I use on YouTube and I have a huge following on there lol. The Cybernetik part came from my old cybergoth days (ugh) when I used to DJ various industrial clubs and such under the name "Cybernetik Shredder" lol. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Li'l devil Posted April 16, 2016 (yeah.. another banal thread by me... i like making threads.) Just post the meaning behind your username, where it originated from, etc. etc. There are a lot of people here with some really bizarre usernames, so I'm really curious what they mean. (yes, I'm aware that there were threads like this before, but they were loooong time ago....) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
nxGangrel Posted April 16, 2016 For me "Gangrel" comes from one of the thirteen clans of vampire, the clan "Gangrel" of course. I love vampires, and I love that game. The nx before it is just an initial, basically a way to identify me. (since I'd use nx before any of my usernames) The letters don't mean anything, they just look pretty in my opinion. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
VGamingJunkie Posted April 16, 2016 Not that much meaning behind it, I just really got into Metroid and it stuck. Of course, my internet name, Todd Blauer, came from Blue Death in German translating to Blauer Tod so I just flipped them since Todd is an actual name. Blue, of course, referencing Phazon from the Metroid Prime series. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Spectre01 Posted April 16, 2016 Riley Martin was a crazy black dude who said he was abducted by aliens who then implanted symbols into his mind which he sold for money. He made several hilarious appearances on Howard Stern's show. Unfortunately he died recently, after I made this account, in fact. RIP in peace m8. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Azuruish Posted April 16, 2016 Heh... It's kind a funny story. Everything began from 'Counter Strike Source'. I don't know why but i remember how I took two letters from name of map: "Aztec". So... From 'Az' everything begins. I remember that i thought that for youtube channel put only two letters is kind a silly. So, i added a few letters more "zuru". But as i thought "Azuru" was taken already and i added SHHHHHHHH sound. "Azuruish". The end. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted April 16, 2016 I'm a galactic exploration zombie. Why don't you explain the meaning behind your own username? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
kuchitsu Posted April 16, 2016 http://j-lyric.net/artist/a001c0c/l005c86.html 朝焼けにくちづけてる (asayake ni kuchizuketeru) means something like "kiss the sunrise". But I misheard it and thought it's "kuchitsu...". Oops. Well, too late to change now I guess. So my username could mean that I'm trying to kiss you but failing. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Li'l devil Posted April 16, 2016 Gez said:Why don't you explain the meaning behind your own username? Hahah, that's funny that you found this page, because this exact page was the inspiration behind my username. You see, I just find it funny that Cheka in English is spelled like a single word, despite that in Russian it's an acronym (ЧК). And there's just something funny about that word in general, especially if you pronounce it with the stress on the 1st syllable (it's supposed to be on the 2nd), because then it sounds like 'chicka'. I decided to use ChekaAgent, because my previous username on the Internet, GovernmentAgent, was a bit too long. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

SFoZ911 Posted April 16, 2016 Back in '07 when I got myself a decent PC and my own internet connection I started creating accounts in all kinds of website(yahoo, youtube, doomworld etc)and I needed some sort of a username so I could easily remember those accounts since my password is also shared between those websites. I was kinda young and excited and I didn't really thought about it entirely. Now I'm stuck with this lame combination of letters and numbers and I can't do anything about it unfortunately. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Clonehunter Posted April 16, 2016 I first employed the name when I signed up for my first (Well, technically second but I never really used the first one, which was a RuneScape related site where I used the handle terf01, as I did in RuneScape) forum at Massassi.net. Being a Star Wars website I didn't want to end up with a Star Wars themed name, but still ended up at Clone Hunter. I shortened it to Clonehunter on later sites for easier use, although now I tend to just use Clone on some sites. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
