Try to recreate Doom 1 from memory! (Community Project) (Closed)

Do you remember the thread or wad that was about recreating E1M1 from memory? Let's recreate the whole game from memory!

 

Alright, another community project, but this one isn't about showing the best of the community. More how good your memory is. I am not looking for good looking levels, good design, good anything, just a honest recreation of Doom 1. Rules are below, anybody (even people who learnt how to make wads yesterday) can join. The only people who can't are people who have never played Doom 1, and never will. Hopefully nobody else is doing something similar.

 

How it will work:

Please put down how many maps you are willing to make from 1-3 (note: if you say 3, you will be assigned 2. If the project is losing interest, you will be called to make another map. This is to allow as many people as I can get to do the challenge. I may even ask if you can do 4, but I'll probably fill it in myself.), and I'll randomly assign you to some maps, or you can choose your maps if you think you'd be best doing them instead of other ones. I may take a lot of time, I'm not American, and am often asleep when Doomworld is most active. The most time you can expect to wait is from 10-12 hours, but you'll hopefully get in before that. If you can leave a message that you are starting, that would help. The deadline is somewhere in early June. I know there are a lot of community challenges on, so just be as fast as you can.

 

Rules:

1. Limit-removing only, no boom or UDMF or you will make my job way harder.

2. Complete your maps before the deadline, and tell me which maps you can't do, and if you would like a different map (tell me which one you would like swap. You don't choose the other one by the way. That would be unfair. Unless you really want to do a map, I really don't care.).

3. You cannot play doom in the time period that you are creating your maps in. That would obviously be cheating.

4. The structure must be similar, and not completely different. Try your best.

5. Don't judge submissions.

6. You can add some cool design, but don't go too over the top. Or do. I don't care.

7. Final rule. No custom anything, the only custom thing should be your map.

Im familiar with E1 but it’s been 9-10 months since I last played.. hope my memory serves me well.

EDIT: I was going to claim something from episode 4, but I think I'll try with E2M6... It has to be all the map or just a fragments of what I remember?

The final deadline is somewhere early June, but I'm not making any final date. Just try to fit it together as you sort of think it went. It could be fragments of it, but as long as it resembles the original, it's good.
