[Oo, with what software? And, it's a tad too early to backup the thread, it's barely a few days into the making. Maybe we shouldn't wait for it to be done, but I dunno.]

I cover my eyes because of the light then I examine him before he starts to speak, when he does I respond with "What do you mean? Osiris! What are you here for? And what do you mean 'not all is lost as long as I am around to see things'?" I grab my shotgun, I still don't point at Osiris but I'm ready to shoot if I need to

[There is no IRC channel for The Backyard as it stands. But I'll aid you anyway because I like iRC and everyone should use it etc etc etc.]

 

[You just grab an iRC client, like HexChat, and then tell it to connect to an IRC network. Nowadays almost everyone is connected to freenode (chat.freenode.net), including yours truly, but you can join multiple networks at the same time, which many people do, incluuuding yours truly.]

[[[ For the record, this is the same person as 'MortarCasualty', I just lost the email to the other account temporarily and had to make a new one via discord instead of resetting my password (!).

 

I will probably use this account more as the other is mostly for private messages relating to that website.

 

However, both accounts have an independent roleplay character staked and invested into The Backyard so I may use both regardless. The problem now is more that I am very behind on reading the topic thread.

[IRC is not a ghost town. It's always harboured many people, although it's been a bit quieter lately. But it's very easy on internet bandwidth, and VERY tolerant to shaky connections, so.]

 

[And HexChat is free, it says on their website, it's only paid on the Windows Store and nobody knows why it is in the Windows Store to begin with lol. I use Weechat, but it's a terminal-based client so I wouldn't recommend it to you.]

*I wake up somewhere dark, i thought i was dead, but apparently not; i get up off of the floor and look around me, i seem to be in some sort of ice cave.*

Huh?, where am i?

*I walk around the cave for a bit, but then, i see an exit into a icy cavern, i walk into the icy cavern, i look up to the sky, and see a hole in the cavern like a ravine, snow falls through the hole in the ceiling.*

*I walk across the ice bridge, a door is seen across from where i am, i run up to the door and knock on it, it opens without anyone answering, once i walk through the door, i'm met with a beautiful sight, a large plain of snow, with small hills here and there, there is also a large hole in the top of this room, the cloudy sky sends it's light through it, i am absolutely delighted at the sight, i jump down onto the snow and start making snowballs and tossing them at the wall.

Whew, that was fun!. *I notice the entrance to a strange temple in front of me, most of it is covered in ice, but i can still make out some of the features of the building*.

 

*I walk into the temple with curiosity; there's strange looking texts on the walls of the entrance, as i walk further into the temple, i hear a voice in my head, begging me for something, almost like a plea for help*.

 

*Eventually i find myself in a strange room, it seems like one of worship, but before i can go any further, i look up and see a large ball of crystal like ice, embedded into tall pillars that reach and are built into the ceiling of the room.*

 

*There's strange symbols all around the floor surrounding the ball, right as i look at it, the same voice from before speaks to me.*

 

"A-are you a reclaimer?". Said the voice.

 

N-no!, what does that mean?. Says me.

 

I look at the ball with fear in my eyes this time, getting an unsettling feeling in my gut.

 

"That does not matter". The voice said again.

 

"I will admit this, i need your help, you see, i was sealed away here, by fools, but i need you to help me escape this imprisonment!". The voice exclaimed.

 

Ehh, i don't know you, and i don't know if you're a bad guy or a good guy!. I said.

 

"Hmmph, you shall call me the almighty for now, but soon, the universe will know my wrath!". The voice exclaimed again.

 

Uhh!, i don't want to help you then, you sound like a bad guy!". I say with an accusing tone in my voice.

 

"NO!, i only want to rid the world of it's evil, so please, help me get free". The voice said.

 

Okay, but how?. I said.

 

"I need a specific amount of energy to escape this prison, but the world hasn't provided enough for me yet, b-but my seal has weakened since my imprisonment, so any large amount can break me free!". The voice said.

 

O-okay! mister almighty, but i have a question, are you god?, and are you listening to me anytime i go to church?. I said with a nervous tone.

 

"What a foolish question, i do not need to hear your praises from the earth, now will you help me, or not?". The voice said.

 

S-sure!, but can you send me back to that backyard i was in earlier?". I asked the voice in the crystal ice ball.

 

"Yes, indeed, but i will warn you, it has gotten quite more dangerous since you left that place". The voice of the almighty said.

 

OKAY!~, THANK YOU MISTER ALMIGHTY!.

 

*Before anything else can be said, i am teleported back to the house that i left in that strange buggy vortex*.
