Jimmy Posted May 13, 2021 (edited) A map for GZDoom initially made for @Major Arlene's "Near Death Experiences" project, which later morphed into "Death's Dichotomy". Like the rest of the maps made for this project, it's an exploration of the idea of death and the afterlife. "Safe Haven" is my interpretation of a safe place removed from the world of the living - it's not necessarily heaven, but a happy place nonetheless. All souls are welcome. Negative influences are buried here. Your stay may be temporary, or permanent - that's up to you. Download "Safe Haven" (1.3MB): GZDoom 4.5.0+ required. OpenGL highly recommended. crusty_charlie Posted May 15, 2021 I had a good run with this one, bite sized and challenging. I love that it introduces itself through a peaceful area so that when you actually take the trip into the Hell version, you have an idea of the layout but just have to survive the enemies that have been inserted into it.
