Can you make the launcher save the configs in a .ini/cfg file to make it fully portable instead of using the registry on Windows? Thank you.

Thats a great idea

I'll try to get it done in the next couple of days

It works perfectly thank you!

*Not a big deal but it still creates an empty registry key, it's ok if you want to leave it there for your name etc. ...just FYI. Merry Christmas!

QT creates it when I go to check if its empty or not. I'll add it to the todo list, thanks! Merry Christmas!

I wonder why my launcher doesn't remember my settings I have changed before. I played ksutra.wad in complevel 2, everything is fine. Then I updating the launcher to v1.3.1, and when I played crmsn37.wad in complevel 9, everytime i start the launcher, it just remembers ksutra.wad and complevel 2. Does this have something to do with the states/state file? I notice that the "history.states" is not .state. This make me confused.

@liveincity

The parameters (when starting the launcher) are saved in dsda-launcher.ini since v1.3.1

With this change, I accidentaly broke that feature on Windows D:

Its already fixed and I made a new release with the fix

https://github.com/Pedro-Beirao/dsda-launcher/releases/tag/v1.3.1-hotfix

Thanks for reporting!

(The history.states file has the content of various .state. Im currently reworking parts of the launcher so it might be more clear what they do in the future)
