Where the new secret exits will be placed is up to you.

@Theperson has episode 1 secret entrance down, whoever takes E2M5 has the next secret down.

Here's some WIP pics.
I'm doing some slightly more realistic remake of the level. The intention is to make it more like an actual nuclear plant, add more detail, but not going overboard.

Here's some E3M3 screenshots! Right now I'm focused on revamping that whole "flesh maze" part from the original. Now you need a red key to enter, and it's made to better resemble some huge demon's guts. I like the idea that there's something so big and terrible that the demons locked it behind the red door out of fear. Freaky stuff.

I don't think so. Battlescroll doesn't seem to be on that thread. he mentioned earlier that he wanted it and I guess he thought he had it, even though it was already taken.

Played E2M8 and E3M1 on vanilla doom exe, both levels works pretty good and are really cool but i found some issues like:

 

  • The lift sector at the start of E2M8 is misaligned, also the arena now look smaller than the original. Trim out also some monsters, now is easier even than the original! Also, make the REDROCK outer walls less rectangunlar and flat, if this doesn't gives issues with vanilla limits
  • In E3M1, change the STEP4 textures with METAL textures. Also, i found some tutti-frutti bug at the STEPTOP texture where the door before the exit is. As well, change the RL secret texture door to something different?

glad you liked it Walter! The early version of the map was initially have 4 cyberdemon and plasma only combat. I realize it's quite of a slog to play and hard, so i make those 3 cyberdemon appear only in multiplayer. As for that ROCKRED, yeah I might reworked it.

I'd say the fun in this project is reinterpreting existing maps, so I think that you can just make your own version of E3M1 and have the cyberdemon part from E3M9.
