Will the Doom Franchise get forgotten?

Everybody has seen the ending of Doom Eternal - The Ancient Gods Part II. The Doomslayer finally destroys Hell and he dies. By that it means no more Doom games

 

But I wonder, will Doom get forgotten forever? I have a friend who keeps says to me that Doom will get forgotten in some years. So, is it true? Will the Doom Franchise die? Guys, I need anwsers to prove my friend wrong and to prove that Doom will never get forgotten or die
