[McD] James Posted May 20, 2021 (edited) Terrible news. The 90s anime is a masterpiece. The world has lost a true legend. Edited May 20, 2021 by [McD]James 9 Quote Share this post Link to post
Endless Posted May 20, 2021 (edited) My God. This touched my heart much more than I expected. Berserk is one of my favorite manga/anime ever, so much so that it has inspired me forever. I still can't believe this, and to think it died 2 weeks ago... fuck. Rest in peace, legend. This day will be an eclipse. Edited May 20, 2021 by Endless 5 Quote Share this post Link to post

Man of Doom Posted May 20, 2021 Berserk was more than just the inspiration for titles like Dark Souls and even Final Fantasy 7. It was more than just it’s gorgeous art, in which every frame could literally be hanged in the Louvre as a Renaissance painting because they were that good. Berserk was also a distinctly human story about healing from trauma, learning to reach out again, fighting the forces that seek to turn you into the darkest version of yourself. And as long as you held on to hope, the light at the tunnel would always be there. May Miura Rest In Peace. 5 Quote Share this post Link to post

Sunnyfruit Posted May 20, 2021 Terrible news. He was one of the greats and had his own style. He will leave a huge void. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
hybridial Posted May 20, 2021 Sucks to hear, he was one of the greats, I've only really watched the first anime which I do think is fantastic, I'd been collecting the hardback books. I will still do so as long as they get released, at one point, definitely from the experiences of delving into writing for myself, I kinda realise the journey doesn't end, and stories don't end. They live as long as their ideas capture people's imagination. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
