having problems with the gameinfo section in mapinfo... (solved)

hello, whilei was browsing zdoom wiki for stuff on how to customize things, and writing them down, i stumbled across a problem.

When i tested it out

this happend

no sound nor title pic or credits

 

i hope someone can help me

Try removing the .mp3 extensions from these names.

You are definig a mp3 sound as a image, so it's pretty clear why it doesnt work.

If that didn't work, I'm not exactly sure how to fix it. I've actually been having some similar problems myself, so I'll see if I can bring this thread to the attention of some more experienced people.

thanks, also can you link me the site from zdoom wiki, where it is told how to define the statusbar in zscript (if you can)

Just to check because that serif font is ambiguous: are you having "titlepage = shisa1" (number one) or "titlepage = shisal" (letter ell)? Your graphic is apparently called shisa1, but honestly to me it looks like you're trying to use something called shisal.

it is schisa1 (the image is kinda low res, and the font is a little unclear)

The image files should be in a sub-folder called graphics/.

 

Not sure why the music isn't working, though.

Okay, i see what i can do by music (maybe he only wants "mus" Files)

Nothing requires only mus files, not even vanilla doom. Especially not ZDoom either.

 

(Except for Doom95 weirdly enough, but nobody really uses that, so it's of little concern.)

im so ducking dumb, i turned down the music to zero
