Computer screen with DOOM in 3D

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys!

I'm learning 3D with Blender to make awesome videos even more crazy than before about video games.

It's a final shading exercise for beginners. Now I can study for intermediate!

I decided to put a Doom image on the computer screen! I did the scene with low light to make the emission more visible and interesting.

Thx! I also like it.

The wall has no texture. Nothing is perfect in real world. And the ipod is unfinished. I could have improve the texture of the table. It's too predictable as it repeats itself with tiling. I should have add a random value to it.

But for my first lesson, it's pretty good. I'll do better next time.

Good work. Eh, I wish I could also learn how to use and create something in Blender.

thx.

The ipod is incomplete. forgot to put texture. The wall is flat blue. I should have put a texture for it as nothing is perfect. The table has a tile texture that is too obvious. I should have made it random. But in overall, I passed the test. I had a score of 57/30. :-)

Do you know what, that's good idea since all of us doom nerds around here. I am sure people will even pay for your work as well. Also I can not pass without noticing what I see on the desk in picture. Is that your drawing of caleb from Blood or is it belongs to someone else like a friend, relative...

Are you serious?

It was an exercises for my 3D courses, and I decided to put Doom on the screen. I post that in here cause it's the artwork section. I did not make it to sell this artwork. I just shared it. That's all.

I'm learning 3D to make video montage about video games. I would like to make a video of ''The exorcist'' VS DOOM guy.

that's amazing looking(much better than me lol). You have some legit talent here

I can still improve some parts. Do you use Blender program? It's free on Steam.

@Max Cady I assume you are using MAX right ? Also, why not ? If you keep up your work and make something better and interesting. I am sure of people would like to buy your stuff. For example, one of my friend started to play electro guitar and now he plays in group and makes some money from it. I also learned 2 foreign languages (ok I still study on 2nd) and now I work in a hotel to guide tourists and get to know foreign students in my university. I sometimes get job from online platforms to do some translations stuff and make my money out of them as well. If you are really good at something keep it up. People love and appriciate for who is working hard for their works.

I can sell 3D model yes. But my main goal is to create video montage about games. I can't have a youtube channel since it takes a few month You have to release a video at least once a week. :-(

What do you think?
