Dark Pulse Posted June 5, 2021 Staycations, though I'd admit I'd also love it if I could find a quiet beach somewhere and spend a night with the water at my feet and the twinkling stars above me. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

ClumsyDoomer Posted June 5, 2021 My favorite vacation was 2 weeks on a small island in Thailand. No fuss of civilization, perfect darkness at night, warmth, the tropical forest. I was mostly cycling around the island, catching butterflies with my face (one of them was black - by far the most beautiful insect I've seen), chasing stray cats, and at nights - laying on the ground and drinking something. Perfection. I'm confident I'll never have a better time in this life. Except feverish dreams, perhaps. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

openroadracer Posted September 20, 2023 Somewhere quiet, somewhere that feels distant and remote without actually BEING truly remote. Just somewhere scenic, with forests and mountains, somewhere where I could get away from modern society. For at least a little while, anyway. Even better if there's snow on the ground while I'm there. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Azuris Posted September 20, 2023 Chilling at home and having a quiet Time or to some Country that is actually warm. Can't understand People that go to cold snowy Places, but i am spanish, so maybe its in my Blood^^ Went to Spain this Year(i'm living in Germany) and that saved my Summer, as in Germany was the whole Year a cold Wind, that resembles more Autumn and it just didn't stoped. Also it was nearly raining the whole August and Spring didn't start really good. September at least has some Mercy and gives some nice sunny Days. The extreme Heat that has come for longer Time Periods in southern Europe does not only make Forests burn down, it vaporizes all the Water. These Clouds cool down over the Alps and bring that cool Wind and all the Rain. The contrast between Heat and cool Clouds lead to Storms. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
