prey 2006 texture size limit ? Need help.

I'm upscaling the textures on prey and since PREY 2006 uses the same engine as doom 3 , I'm having a problem with the texture size limit being reached at the file size of 2,500 so only the low res textures are loaded into the game.

Is there anyway to increase the size of some setting so the game loads the textures or separate the pak files into smaller sizes?
