GoneAway Posted June 11, 2021 (edited) Here is sliw.wad, wherein I experiment with fucked up platforming. It's a sampler platter of aerial experiences. This wad uses MBF21 map features - you need a compatible port like dsda-doom or woof. Uses otex by Ola Björling (ukiro). sliw.zip Edited September 22, 2021 by kraflab 27 Quote Share this post Link to post
Mystic 256 Posted June 28, 2021 I'm too stupid to understand how this wad is suppose to be played? is it rocket jumping? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

GoneAway Posted September 13, 2021 Updated with map 2. It provides a more casual respite after the ordeals of map 1. 6 Quote Share this post Link to post
Meowgi Posted September 22, 2021 This wad is beyond greatness. Visuals are incredibly awesome. Music is so fitting and, even if it isn't very "doom-ish," for this wad is perfect because it really made me feel immersed into the atmosphere of the game. My favorite maps were 03, 02, 01 (despite what I said) and there are no disliked maps. Also the ending really blew my mind, neat as fuck. So yeah this is a top quality mapset in terms of visuals/music. Literally beautiful. Right now, this is 10/10. 5 Quote Share this post Link to post
GoneAway Posted September 22, 2021 Updated with map 3. This is a delightful remix of noye map 11. 4 Quote Share this post Link to post
Csucskos Posted December 10, 2021 Oh my god this is horrible. I tried to beat the first map but I gave up on the triangles. It's really really hard. I'm happy it exists but I don't think I will ever play it again. Sometimes the required actions were unclear like I SR50d the painelemental room. It felt like cheese but I don't know how to use the lost souls to push me. Or the pillars on Map 2. Or how am I supposed to get through map 3's latest platforms? I actually enjoyed it because it's a puzzle and a platformer combined but I can't see anyone actually finishing it. I liked the calming music, my emotions were through the roof at times even saving after every jump. The aesthetics are somewhat basic but it works. The flowing walls confused me a couple times though. Nice! 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

If you want a spoiler on any part in particular, feel free to DM me. I believe Meowgi did complete all 3 maps without any hints, although some parts are definitely tricky :^) 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
