I LOVE your Doom 64 video. It's an interesting concept and really fucking creepy. Nice to see someone expand on the true darkness and atmospheric terror of Doom 64". That game doesn't get it's fair due in terms of how fucking terrifying that game actually was back in the day. Now imagine being 7 years old and playing this like I did when it came out lol. I know that there were other horror games that I guess can considered "Scarier" but the thing with Doom 64 is, how dead pan serious it's approach is. The original Doom games were kinda scary back in their time as well, but they never matched what this one did. They had more of a tongue in cheek and energy driven game play and story. But 64, It's like your still playing Doom, but something is wrong... Everything has a slower pace. The music is droned and eerie and sometimes downright scary. The lighting effects are done fantastically and not to mention the horrifying redesigns of the monsters. Where Doom in 93 said "ALRIGHT BROTHER BRING ON THE DEMONS AND THE METAL LETS GO KILLIN! WOOOOOO!" 64 was more understated and felt like more of a realistic take on things. The shadows felt suffocating and mood was downright dark and negative. If Doom in 93 felt like you were Superman with a gun, then 64 felt like you were just human fighting for your survival in a warped satanic nightmare. Adding the ideas in your video you did was interesting. Imagine if those things were true lol.
