MrFroz Posted September 23, 2022 (edited) The latest thing I bought was Blasto, the Official Strategy Guide. It is out of print but I was able to get a copy of it by contacting the writer of the book, who had a spare of it in good condition to sell. I also got it signed by him and the lead programmer of the game (Dylan Cuthbert). . I think that the best run-ins with celebs or idols tend to be some of these smaller, underappreciated artists, because there seems to be more of a recognition of the fan as a person, rather than just part of a throng of them. HavoX Posted September 25, 2022 Yesterday was my birthday, and Dad emailed me a $100 Amazon gift card. Wasted no time putting it to good use. Bought 2 Noctua NF-A12x25 chromax.Black.swap fans (Awesome fans, but expensive!*) and a 2-pack of Y-Splitter cables. Now I am using the NF-A12x25's as exhaust, and the NF-F12 iPPC-3000's as front intake to create a positive pressure setup in my case (the iPPC fans have a higher CFM rating at max RPM, but boy, are they loud). I also bought a 2-pack of EPS 8-pin extension cables for my power supply. I was doing some cable management and found that the stock EPS cable couldn't reach the power connector from behind the motherboard tray. This baby did the trick. Now the stock cable won't be sticking out like an eyesore. *I bought the fans as a 240mm AIO Upgrade bundle, which not only came with NT-H2 thermal paste, but lowered the price of each fan to $29.22, compared to $32.90. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

I bought one in the last three months as well, also 240GB. I haven't tested it out much but games like Subnautica and Natural Selection 2 work a lot better for me with it. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

invalidlain Posted October 4, 2022 The 2010 remaster of Pretty Hate Machine, I've been into Nine Inch Nails for a while and it's nice to own considering the number of differences between the original and the remaster, which are mostly in sound volume but there are still a few more subtle changes, such as samples being removed from some songs. I feel it makes the album slightly more cohesive than the original master, but I ain't gonna diss on anyone who prefers the original. I also think the cover of Get Down, Make Love sucks. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post

Honestly I got into NIN a couple of years ago and i love the Pretty Hate Machine album and the Fragile album as well. But yes the cover of Get Down, Make Love sucks. I don't know why he added it but hey i don't make music...i just make doom maps. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Pechudin Posted October 4, 2022 Some COBI model tanks and aircraft, specifically Tiger II, Renault R35, TOG II* and AU-1 Corsair. I was a huge LEGO fan when younger but COBI is also high quality and does military models, and does not require you to sell your kidneys to afford a small pile of blocks. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
MrFroz Posted October 7, 2022 (edited) I just bought Her Story on Steam, because Sam Barlow's games are at a hefty discount. I'm intrigued to play this one. I also purchased Shenmue I & II, which are games that I always heard of, but will be playing for the first time. I plan to buy more games that are part of the current SEGA Megamix Sale, including the infamous Aliens: Colonial Marines, to see how much TemplarGFX's mod can improve the game.
