Gore Posted July 12, 2021 I'll just game, and go outside for a couple of hours, then take a shower, help my family, sleep, repeat. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
BaileyTW Posted July 13, 2021 Other than the usual job search not much. It is too damn hot, 110F+ (43C+) consistently, to be outside for a long period of time especially since I wear a hoodie everywhere. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
vyruss Posted July 13, 2021 Write software between 2 hour long 30 minute standups and then write software for fun after hours. Fix up the house some too. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Kokoro Hane Posted July 13, 2021 My summer will be mostly spent trying to get my visual novel my friend and I started back in NaNoRenO finished for SuNoFes (Summer Novel Festival, another jam). I'd go bike riding, but my poor little bike has a bad rear-tire.... 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Doominator2 Posted July 13, 2021 I've been pretty much working for the government most of the Summer so far. One of the perks of working from home is waking up 10 mins before work starts, just gotta make sure to freshen up on the days I got meetings. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
CBM Posted July 13, 2021 (edited) I will be looking at maes avatar.... mesmerized... I... but seriously... I have already been doing tons of work on my summer house and I will likely spend the rest of this summer pretending to be a handyman while setting up new walls, painting, laying in new floor, putting in isolation etc... rough todo list of things that need doing (I likely forgot atleast half of what needs to be done): 1) finish isolation of outer walls 2) finish inner walls 3) fill in gaps 4) paint new dual garage 5) paint old garage 6) paint sheds 7) make more sheds 8) lay new terrasse, create place to have camp fire, create a place for a hot tub, gazebo, fences... 9) replace the roof over the old terrase where the original terrasse roof from 1971 came crashing down in a storm in 2015 10) isolate new dual garage 11) make old computer room for dos, win98 and xp doom gaming in the rear of the new dual garage 12) install new heating in the main house and the dual garage 13) put in new floor in the old garage 14) all the small things... put up lamps etc etc it is oddly relaxing to do this kind of work Edited July 13, 2021 by CBM 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Swordofdanu Posted July 14, 2021 This summer I'll be mostly staring at small mounds of dirt in various parks for the fabled eyeworm of kros. If I have any free time after that, it will be the beach and so on, living by the coast has a lot of options. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
leejacksonaudio Posted July 25, 2021 Spend most of my time in the smegging hospital, it would seem, hooked up to a bag of IV antibiotics. :( /movingrightalong 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Dark Pulse Posted July 27, 2021 (edited) Summarize Proust, strangle animals, play golf, and masturbate, not necessarily in that order. (Free Invulnerability sphere like if you get the reference. Post required.) More seriously: Already built my new PC after a fairly long delay, finish up my third translation project for some freelance RPG Maker work that I do (nearly done - just needs playtesting now), work on some other projects I do for fun, and basically just enjoy the time off from my main job until I go back to it in early September. Oh yeah, and have a birthday, too. Edited July 27, 2021 by Dark Pulse 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Caffeine Freak Posted July 28, 2021 Already well in progress for most of these: 1. Start my daily walks again, and keep them up (hard during this heat) 2. Work on Episode 3 of Doom 3: Phobos 3. Work with the Prodeus level editor (uses the Unity engine). I'll be submitting a Prodeus map for a community mapping contest on their official Discord. Deadline is August 31st, so yeah, I'll be crunching pretty hard on that over the next several weeks. 4. Learn UE4 (will transition to UE5 at some point) 5. Learn Modo (currently the hardest of the bunch) 6. Learn the Carrion level editor (uses the Tiled map editor as a base). I want to put out a decent custom Carrion map on Steam. No real reason, other than I love the game and it's another way for me to get my hands dirty, with something 2D for once. Of all the items on the list, I'd consider this one of the lowest priority. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
HavoX Posted July 28, 2021 (edited) Nothing to do but sit in front of the computer and play Doom, while having a bot run Pokémon Sword, doing automated Surprise Trades. (I won't tell you how the latter is done... this is a secret family recipe. :P ) Occasionally, I will do some chores around the house, and if Dad needs some help with something (he's building a shed to store his John Deere lawn tractor), I will not hesitate to help out! Apprentice Posted August 15, 2021 Enjoying the weather as much as possible, otherwise trying to finish up some projects of mine. We're having a crappy summer here, one day the weather is fine around 25 °C, the other day it rains with only 16°C . . . 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
