Yeah, it's kinda like two map pieces welded together in a way. After doing work on it, the map has grown on me more. Map19 (by danimetal) and Map29 (by DoomedAce) certainly are far from shabby, as well, even if they could use improvements. But I'd think in a most cautious scenario it would not hurt the project as a whole too badly if those maps ended up staying untouched. Doom_Dude Posted August 4, 2021 (edited) @FrancisT218 Yes I talked to Stphrz on here a couple days ago. I got the go ahead to work on his map and mainly doing some aesthetic stuff with it. I received another email address for Danimetal (gmail this time) and hopefully he will answer. I don't see much to do to his map for sure. It's certainly detailed enough and I'm sure the gameplay is fine. I haven't actually played it in a few years or more. I'm still looking for and I said this in several posts previous these four... Ah, those were supposed to be conduit/duct type things. I've reworked one of those to be a dead-end now as the shortcut didn't really make sense in a level that's probably too small already. I also deleted the blue carpet room entirely and replaced it. I tried sticking with the original ideas, but I was very unhappy with this original area. Some other updates and pack texture use as well. Now comes the balancing part, which always takes forever. Since there's a teleport in the level I might also play with making a new side area. 6 Quote Share this post Link to post

Doom_Dude Posted August 10, 2021 I dunno for sure. I fixed up the Grunt map, but I'm on the fence with including it. danimetal's doesn't need much of anything done to it. I haven't looked at the Doomedace map in ages, but it's probably fine I guess and the Pumpkimsmasher map could use some work.
