The doorway isn't far enough from the ground from what I'm looking at. However, there is no linedef even relating to tag19, unless I'm missing something.

Sorry, let me clarify. I'm talking about this area in particular;

When you open the wall to try and get the supercharge, it opens as you'd expect. But the floor's height is too high up to enter the room, and there aren't any other ways into it. Straferunning to the secret area is impossible as there's a torch decoration in the way. This isn't a source port issue, as I've tried it with several others and they have the same results.

MAP07 is good AFAIK, but MAP14 has two problems;

  • The leftmost big wooden door has missing textures on both of its walls;

  • If you fall in any of the water pits next to the exit, you can't get out without noclipping.

I do not have anything to report for the moment, but I must say, the soundtrack recreated from memory is hilariously adorable and I love it. :D

 

I hope to see D1TWWR get one too in the near future!

Played first two maps.

MAP01's name is too long to fit in the intermission screen on PrBoom+ resolution. Might need some line breaks or smaller font. The iconic staircase room also doesn't even try to align pipe textures on the wall, which I don't think is part of the experience. Might be worth aliging them for easthetic.

You also must've missed that I named my MAP02 submission "Utter Hole".

And MAP27 still has "Trillion" in its name even though I asked to make it "Million", but maybe you just didn't get around changing it.

 

Added:

I assume missing CWILV didn't pick alternate names. I figure I'll thow some random ideas at the wall

Sorry guys I'm a goof, I'm just now seeing the @ towards me a few pages ago.  I thought I sent my submission awhile ago but I guess it slipped by me.

Currently I just left town for the holidays and won't be back to send it for a few days since it's on my desktop computer.  I'll definitely be back before New Years and I'll send it before then, is that ok with everyone?

just played some maps today (01-09, 12, 20, 21 & 26).

 

Everything I saw seems to be cool, except in Map21. The teleporter at the yellow key wall sends you back to itself, locking you in that area and soft locking you if you don't have the yellow key yet. @Engired I think that's your map? Just letting you know.

 

Also I did a short playthrough vid for my channel. I know it's still in beta testing mode but most maps seem perfectly playable and I wanted to generate a little extra hype for the impending final release.

D2TWWRI_Demos.zip

 

This is a pack of 3 demos of me playing MAP11, MAP05 and MAP26. I'm die in all demos except in DEMO2. Recorded using DSDA-Doom 0.21.3 and in Doom 2 1.9 compatibily level (not sure). The version I played through MAP05 is the old version though, so that might get desync when played in the new version. (also just let me know if the demos is desync in general when played with Doom 2 1.9 complevel)

 

If you still don't know what I'm saying this is the demos that was meant to be put in the wad

Before my internet die and me go offline for 19 hours, I would like to upload the final version of MAP14. What changes does this have? Well I make the BIGBRIK2 wall in the end impassable so the player doesn't fall off if they get attacked by Arch-vile, yes this fix was make after I experienced that.

Alright kept my word this time

I think it's pretty accurate for the most part, a few mistakes here and there.  My first listen I dedicated entirely to memorizing the main melody on guitar.  I practiced it for a few days to retain the memory and did that first.  The second and third listen was for the Timpani and pad(s).  Drums and other instruments I had to figure out myself so that's all different, some of the instruments like the horns I couldn't quite nail down so I replaced them with organs for a slightly new take as well.

Headphones also broke during recording, so the mixing/panning may be a little off here and there.  If it is, and/or there's pianos playing when they shouldn't be, let me know and I'll try to fix it.  Great challenge all in all, thanks for letting me be part of this project.

I'll try to release it tomorrow, I don't see anything major being a problem. Additional testing can always be done after release if there is any remaining issues. If I don't release it tomorrow, then I'll hopefully release it the next day after.

This will be the final release, all things should be added and fixed. I'll release the trailer and a quick video for the album soon, and then after I get the comparisons done, I'll release it. Should be out sometime later today.
