PrBoom+ Doesn't save settings

I've been having a really strange issue lately.

After changing anything in the settings, when I reopen PrBoom+ the settings are back to default.

I checked prboom-plus.cfg, and my changes do appear in the config file, but not in the game.

Any help would be appreciated!

thats weird what version are you using? you may be saving the setting on prboom+ and then playing on glboom+

 

the current version has only one launcher

I updated it to the current version, and now it doesn't even make a config file anymore.

• Which actual version are you using?
• In which folder is PrBoom located?

I'm using Windows 10

I upgraded to PrBoom+ 2.6

I'm guessing you mean folder directory. It was located in C:\Users\User\Desktop\Spēles\DOOM\PrBoom+

Might be this issue: https://github.com/coelckers/prboom-plus/issues/209

Try moving the PrBoom+ folder out of the "Spēles" folder.

It worked! Thank you so much!

I never knew non-latin characters would mess stuff up this bad.

Looks like this has been fixed already:

Should show up in the next official release.
