What are the largest maps?

Sometime ago, I made a size comparison between various maps. Featured:

Purple - ZDMCP2 

Green - D'spirali's Hideout, which might be one of the largest maps for Heretic by now

Blue - A WIP wad by me

Yellow - Eternal Doom map30

Red - Map01 Entryway of Doom2

The biggest map I ever played was Ar Luminae. It had noticeable framerate drops occasionally.

My very soon complete UDMF map Brotherhood of Ruin: Supercharged Edition fits in a roughly 22500x14336 square, which is the playable area not counting the portals used. It's the largest map I've ever made since 1996 when I started mapping.

just for fun: a more accurate way (taught by boris iwanski, the developer for udb) to find the area of a map is by using the udb's scripts feature. just select all the sectors in the map, then run the script as in the screenshot. this calculates the area actually being used to make the map and not the empty spaces. hope that this small tip is useful. tq :)
