I'm trying to build a scenario in an MBF21 map where the player activates a switch that teleports them to another room, and after a certain amount of time, I'd like the player to be teleported back to the original room. However, I would prefer it if the player's return trip didn't require them to activate a switch or cross a linedef. I was hoping I could use a timed voodoo doll to teleport the player back, but, I can't seem to figure out any conceivable way of accomplishing this (the obvious issue I'm running into is that the voodoo doll teleports, rather than the player).
I tried googling this, and only found zdoom related topics. Is this possible? Has it ever been done before?
