Does doom builder 2 or the original doom builder work with dosbox?

I want to make a map for dosbox doom but I’m not sure if it will work. I am using doom+ If that helps.

even ultimate doom builder will work.  just choose the appropriate format, which will be either Doom: Doom (Doom Format) or Doom: Doom 2 (Doom Format). it'll just be up to you to keep within the vanilla limits, as i don't think it'll stop you from exceeding thing visplane/thing/etc limits.

Sorry, I just heard somewhere that it didn’t work well but it was possible. Just wanted to make sure before I mess up on something.
