AzureDoomMapper1250 Posted September 4, 2021 (edited) Hello. I'm working on a wad and it seems like making a Door in UDMF is a lot harder than in Doom 2 format. I have tried the Generic Door action, and i've also tried making it open through a script. Nothing seems to work. Why? 0 Dexiaz Posted September 4, 2021 (edited) Hello. Making doors in UDMF is the same difficulty as Vanilla format. Are you sure that Door's linedefs are targeted outside instead of targeting inside? It's the regular problem for newcoming mappers. Door_Generic is a good action, be sure to check "When player presses use". Also you could give a tag to door's sector (and don't forget to mention tag in Action) UPD: Now I see the second screenshot you've uploaded later. I suppose you've tagged lines instead of sector. That's the problem. Edited September 4, 2021 by Dexiaz 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
