Enemy, item and secret count

How do I make enemy, item and secret counts appear on the HUD/automap? I've been playing with HUD/automap settings for a while now and can't figure it out. On prboom+ you can easily swap HUD's with F5, but here I've bound F5 to Toggle HUD and it does nothing. It's probably really obvious. I've seen screenshots with an enemy count before so I know it's possible. Thx in advance!
