Chocolate Doom & fake walls

Question

So, I started investigating how to make my wad fully vanilla-compatible, and noticed fake walls were all presenting a bug with the texturing.

 

Can someone help me with that? It works fine on gzdoom, but there's this bug in chocolate.

It's the specific texture you're using.

 

The GSTVINE texture has 2 patches on the same column, which causes the Medusa effect.

 

It looks like you're just going to have to either use a different texture for the fake wall, or combine the GSTVINE texture into a single patch using whatever image editor you have.

You've got that mixed up with tutti-frutti, which is the one caused by tiling textures that aren't exactly 128 pixels high.
