Gray scale sprites

Hi guys, I'm reporting something strange that I noticed; textures that appear normal at game time turn gray inside Slade 3.

Note that the nice Pyro Imp is in normal colors inside the Slade.

However, his infamous bonfire that forms after shooting the "PyroImpBall" is gray.

On the other hand, the same gray colored bonfire is in normal colors (fire colors) in the game.

Why are some sprites just gray in Slade?

Because you have not set the base resource archive.

The pyro imp sprites are probably PNG, so they carry their palette with them, while the flames are in Doom's graphic format, which does not contain color information so they need an exterior palette provided by the IWAD.

Hehe I had already placed the base resources for this, but it seems I hadn't applied any of them. The flames are now colored. Thank you Gez
