32in24-15tex V2 but it's different. SoftFX expansion for mappers!

I'm pretty sure these use it, now hoping that they don't actually change any texture names:

 

 

 

Also, this thread mentions CC4tex, but since 32in24tex is just an extension of it, i think all these mentioned in this thread should work for testing as well:

Thanks for the suggestions! JCPC suddenly became one of my favorite WADs during screenshotting and i'll definitely be giving it a proper playthrough!

Hi, team lead for 32in24 here. Any 32in24 resources are free to use by anyone so long as they are properly attributed in the textfile on release.

So i'll just include a text file that gives thanks to the team behind 32in24? What names should be mentioned? 😁

Esselfortium and TheGreenHerring are chiefly responsible for that texture pack. It doesn't need to be in a separate textfile or anything, but typically something posted on idgames has a textfile describing the contents of the wad, and people put attributions and credits in that.

I don't really know how to post a WAD on idgames and have only posted stuff on the forum. I'll do a zip and give thanks to the 32in24 team in a text file!

How dependant are the bright effects on the pallete specifically?  Would I be able to change some things around it would it effect the bright effect too much?  I would love to use this stuff with the more teal change that's in Eviternity1/sunder.

You're free to do whatever you want with this WAD :) This mod simply makes some of the colors fullbright, which of course means I had to modify some textures to remove fullbright pixels where they obviously shouldn't be. Most forward facing monster sprites are also edited. I haven't done anything with the pallette. 

 

Vanilla and 32in24 use slightly different colors and still the effect works when I simply pasted the edited colormap to this project from my previous Vanilla version.

@MuusiI just wanted to ask which wad/file is the latest version of Vanilla Brightmaps? Because there are three different topics with downloads on them. I downloaded them all and am just a bit confused on which one should I use? is the SoftFX_32in24-15_tex_v2_cleaned the latest and final one? Does it have Doom 1 & 2 flats and monsters textures in it as well? Thanks.

For Doom and Doom II use this.
