MidnightMage Posted October 3, 2021 Good catch Noiser. I'd been testing on RUDE but didn't catch that. Once all squares are done, I'd say we start back at the beginning of the que. So I will fix up my section of the map then repost it, then someone else can say that they are editing their square, once they are done they repost and another may modify their square to bugfix issues. It's entirely up to you. I'm ok with either decision. I just played v15 and it appears a slew of squares have been broken from copy paste. I think the squares which appear to be damaged the most are 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 but I'd like to bug hunt and resolve these issues collectively. I also noticed square 5's door opener and the switch that lowers the shotgunners is in fact not compatible with limit removing ports so it'll have to be fixed as per Noiser's comment. I just tested between v14 and v15 and there's all varieties of sectors missing throughout the entire map in v15. I've found this tends to happen when copying & pasting sectors. Sorry I know this is a pain. trying once again.. discovered the issue now - I should've been aware that some of the neighboring sectors were affected.. sorry about that EDIT, EDIT 2 ... fixed some textures in my square should be fine now, link: ok, finally ready.. here it is... I also added 2 lifts, that connect square 13 and 15, and there's no lift to square 10, since I didn't see any reason to add one because square 10 doesn't have an entrance to my square alone. Spoiler Also, the FIREBLU portal now makes the player go to a FIREBLU room, with a sentence that says "YOU DO NOT BELONG HERE". Its up to you, but I think it works as is. The gate can be reached and used by walking on the small ledge (wall?) and the hole in the wall can be used if following the entrace point that was marked with an arrow in v14. The hole in the wall was made where the arrow was previously. I think this quilt will be even better than the previous one... all the squares are just so awesome. Walter confetti Posted October 4, 2021 (edited) I've slighty changed it from the original cave idea to this outdoor area, but the mechanics on how the room works remain intact. Oh, anyway, here's the final room: AngryQuilt2v16.zip Uses hard monsters only, with the weakest being cacos. Raise a bridge from the lava lake with a mastermind taking a beauty bath in the middle, reach the building that have the exit portal. Some things are kinda put here temporarly like the blue skull key spot (i wanted to put inside the worriedidiot room so the cyberdemon area be useful) and i wanted to add more details here and there... but i leaved them as they are. If you want to bugfix your square or add detailing say so in the thread and say "I am modifying the map now, please wait until I've reposted it again." Then once you've completed your edits, post them here and say "I've completed bugfixing my square, it's open to the next mapper."
