No. The original source got released in 1997.

I think you misunderstood her tweet. That CD contains the source code and assets for the Jaguar version...from which the 3DO version was created.

The Jaguar code probably has enough differences from the 3DO code for it to matter on its own.

What I find fascinating about the whole 3DO Doom debacle is that it is basically a scene-for-scene retread of what happened with ET on the Atari, albeit with somewhat lesser fallout.

 

Awesome to see Becky still has the raw data. Hopefully it can be preserved in some format if it hasn't already.

Becky already posted the photo of the CD. We have skilled programmers around here, it can't be too hard to extract the data from that?
