AdamBeGood Posted September 24, 2021 Hi all, I know I can run multiple files from Run with the following kind of command: X:\Games\GZDoom\gzdoom.exe -file brutalv21.pk3 mapsofchaos.wad How do I do that in Doom Launcher? Is that possible? It would make things neater for me. Cheers! Adam 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
hobomaster22 Posted September 25, 2021 You would click map of chaos as the wad to play. Then click the add button on the pane to the right and search for brutal doom and select. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
AdamBeGood Posted September 26, 2021 Thank you - that is useful. What I was looking for was more to be able to save a certain config, so if I have multiple WADs I use with the same underlying WAD, I could just click on one instance for each of them, rather than having to remove/add each time. No worries though, not a biggie. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
snapshot Posted September 27, 2021 (edited) Doom Explorer can do this, lets you save multiple configs each with its own port, commands, wads...etc and quickly change to whichever config you select. Edited September 27, 2021 by sluggard 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

No worries though, not a biggie. There a couple things you can try to make things easier if you are always using the same wads. First, you can package them all in the same zip file and call it something like 'ModPack.zip' and add that Doom Launcher. When you select ModPack.zip everything inside the zip would be automatically added. The other option is if you are frequently adding these anytime you play a source port like GZDoom, then you can add the files to additional files section of the GZDoom source port. Then any time you select GZDoom as your port those files will automatically be added. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
