How do I edit the Doom 1 Ending?

RetroAkaMe

Question

NOTE: I want this to be in DehackEd, or in minimum, vanilla.

I'm working into a total conversion of Doom, for my game, Squareman. It's a simple project to make a game for a handheld.

I wanna change the ending of episode 3, how do I do it?

The game is based off Doom 1. (Not ultimate)

I'm afraid you have to do it in Slade, not in Dehacked. Don't worry, works in every (to my knowledge) port.

To go your wad in Slade and put in your images you want as a Doom graphic and name it ' PFUB1 ' for the first part and ' PFUB2 ' for the second part. Make sure these graphics aren't between two markers and you're done! Isn't that hard when you snoop in the wad files themselves, like how I learned it.

And if you notice your graphics are too big for the screen, you have to resize them in an image editor like paint!

Happy editing!
