If you want a video I can post one. If not it's a super tiny file to test for the fun of it.

 

 

This is a pk3 already. Just remove the .zip with rename. GZDoom, LZDoom tested and recommended. Should work Fine with Zandronum but not tested with it. Tiny size so should be excellent on mobile. Not Compatible outside of Zdoom family.

 

This is the Weapons only version of WoE- Weapons of Earth without the Enemies of Earth attached to it. There are no grenades in this version mainly to keep it more balanced for Vanilla play or for other monster packs.

 

WoE- Weapons of Earth is now on its 4th version! This one. This weapons pack was inspired by both Weapons of Saturn and Terminator 2 Judgement Day in the vein of Classic Doom style with a twist. This mod is very Classic Doom oriented in its feel and works just fine for any Doom 1 file as well. The only thing you lose on Doom 1 is the Auto-Shotgun

Heres a brief rundown of this 800KB weapons pack of each weapon. Bind a Reload key for the Pistol and the Auto-Shotgun. Many weapons use clips but do not show the number of shots in the clip. This done for simplicity and realism.

 

 

 

1.Pistol- Pistol needs to be reloaded. Shoots fairly fast. Will reload automatically, but can also be done with Reload key.

 

2.1887- This beast of a shotgun hits as hard as the classic SSG for one shell. The drawback is that it must be manually cocked via altfire/right-click. The animation will tell you when you need to cock the rifle: It points at the enemy when it's cocked and ready. It has a fun rhythm!

 

3.Auto-Shotgun- this gun holds 8 shells per magazine and shoots super fast. The drawback is that it must be manually reloaded. This done to make it not waste shells and be more balanced. BIND RELOAD KEY.

 

4.TacRifle- This is a accurate assault rifle with a working scope on right click. It has a 30 round clip but reloads on its own if you reach the bottom. You can also manually reload it with Reload.

 

5.Grenade Launcher-- Remember the T2 Grenade launcher? Its like that. It operates like the 1887 in that it must be manually cocked. When first pulled up, any time you switch to it, it will be UNLOADED as a safety measure to prevent killing yourself. Its animation state is set to look as Open so you know. Right click to cock and Fire to fire. Very simple and VERY STRONG. Much stronger than vanilla rockets. Big blast radius.

 

6.Plasma Rifle- Straightforward and pretty. No reloading or cocking gimmicks here. Its a future weapon after all.

 

7.Napalm Cannon. Replaces the BFG. Only main fire to lay down a carpet of napalm at 5 cells per click. Yes you can hurt yourself on the flames. Altfire is basically a flashlight LMAO.

 

8. Sniper Rifle- Replaces Chainsaw- Shoots a high speed bullet that has a ripper/piercing effect of going through all enemies in it's path. Very Strong. Shoots slow. Scope works great. This is not a Hitscan gun. It fires a very fast projectile so if you are sniping you may have to lead the shot if the target is really far away.

 

9. Fist Redux-- This replaces the normal fist with a Martial Arts setup. Altfire is a strong but slightly slow kick. Berserk packs work normally with this so you will be a wrecking ball afterward. Super fun.

 

All resources used are modified versions of Realm667 guns. These and my personal coding here are free to use on any projects if you want.

There's plenty of mods out there with working sniper rifles. This is just a super slimmed down version of those mechanics without having 50 guns like Counterstrike Doom or Call of Duty doom. 

 

The sniper in this mod is a modified one from Realm667 version. I don't have the headshot mechanic like what Brutal Doom has. The damage on the sniper has the largest variance of all the guns. It can Gib zombies or take 2 shots to kill an imp.
